WATTMORE Earns US Patent for Flexible Energy Management Software for Energy Storage 

DENVER (September 11, 2024) - WATTMORE, the Denver-based battery storage energy management software firm, announced today the company has been awarded a new U.S. patent for its universal optimization Energy Management System (EMS) software platform. The proprietary technology makes managing battery energy storage systems (BESS) easier, more flexible and more efficient to operate and generate revenue.       

The technology covered by the patent – the company’s fifth for improving BESS operation and management – enables WATTMORE’s Intellect Operate EMS software to seamlessly integrate with any hardware and scale across multiple market verticals.

WATTMORE’s Intellect EMS software supports the operation of energy storage systems owned or operated by Logan Light and Power in Utah, ES Fox, a Canada-based industrial, commercial, institutional and energy constructor and fabricator, Seattle’s 303 Battery net-zero energy high rise apartment building, and other projects.
